If you are a constant web surfer, you probably know that some website don't work every time and Internet connections are not always stable and reliable. Maybe you want to visit a preferred site, but the server is overloaded and the pages load very slowly. For these problems there is a solution, RafaBot. It's a software that can download complete websites. It saves all downloaded files in the user's hard drive in native format and the user can view, research or extract them off-line without being connected to the Internet.
The software has a very quick and simple installation process that can be completed even by beginners, thanks to the point-and-click operation. The system resources required are as low as you can get. It supports any version of Microsoft Windows.
The interface is no eye-candy but it's well organized and easy to follow. For the download process to begin, the user needs to enter the preferred website address, the type of files that will be downloaded and the path for saving the site. That's about it. After this, the software will start downloading every single website file to the hard disk and will link all the files together, so, after the process is complete, the user can browse through the site as if it were online.
Rafabot even supports sites that require logging in. During the downloading process, the main interface displays in real-time some statistics about the process, for example, the number of URLs processed, the quantity of data received, the total number of files read and so on.
The software allows saving more than one website at a time and, because it's based on the multi-threading technology, the sites will be saved in no time. Besides saving actual websites, RafaBot also allows entering a keyword for using it along with search engines and saving every page that contains that keyword. Users should be careful about using this options because it may generate a large quantity of traffic, depending on how popular the keyword is.
